Sure, I'll be glad to. I'm planning to use the python-modules Alioth
project for the maintenance [1] and I'm preparing a first working
version of the packages. If you want to co-maintain them the first step
is to join the Alioth project, see the policy of the project [2] for how
to do it.

So having you co-maintaining the package would be great :) What about me
drafting the first package and you have a look at them checking if I've
shipped all the relevant stuff?
