Package: wnpp
Owner: Steffen Moeller <steffen_moeller@gmx.de>
Severity: wishlist

*** Please type your report below this line ***

* Package name    : libjson.org-java
  Upstream Author : json@json.org
* URL             : www.json.org/java
* License         : unrestricted
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : Fat-Free Alternative to XML

The short description was stimulated from the slightly provocative
statements on upstream's web site. It will be modified to adapt to the
wording of the descriptions of the Ruby and Perl package that are
already in the distribution.

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data-interchange
format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines
to parse and generate. It is based on a subset of the JavaScript
Programming Language, Standard ECMA-262 3rd Edition - December 1999.
JSON is a text format that is completely language independent but uses
conventions that are familiar to programmers of the C-family of
languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and
many others. These properties make JSON an ideal data-interchange
language.

The license said that this work "shall be used for Good not Evil"
purposes as the only restriction while the respective header in the
sources is left intact.
