It also seens like the main development for this driver is happening in the OLPC's branch of the linux tree and not directly with upstream. I tried to separate the driver from their patched linux source, but it proved to be very difficult I also am no longer directly working with olpc hardware. For these reasons, I'm no longer interested in being the maintainer for thesepackages.
I was able to create a working package but found that the driver from upstream wasn't as useful as the one from the olpc git tree, so I'm not using it. Please contact me if you would like to reuse my pacakging. stew
