Hi, According to http://www.netbeans.org/about/legal/license.html the license of netbeans is CDDL and not SPL since version 5.5. "Both the CDDL and the earlier SPL are based on the Mozilla Public License (MPL); CDDL is a more reusable license, and was written to be more readable."
