Bug#278581: Kicad
Is anyone working on packaging this excellent software package? I looked at
this software and can say it is much better than similar packages currently in
the Debian archives. If no on is working on it, I will try to recruit a maintainer.
Getting this package into Debian is important as it will greatly increase the
user base - there is not only Debian, but all the Debian based distributions
users it will hit - The guys who use this code are likely to be able to make
useful contributions. It would be good to get it in now as Etch is slated to
become stable about the end of the year.
