Well, the problem here is not for me. I'm not stating this because I'm
damaged in any way. I meant this for letting other people know, not only
me.

I agree with options on free software. Why don't you patch it and send
it to reportbug upstream authors? Actually I'm not sure here, but I
think the encoding used in the system is the one used on the reports.
