Hi, I was just skimming through the packages on http://utnubu.alioth.debian.org/missing-packages and noticed that Ubuntu has a fast-user-switch-applet package and we don't. Then I found your ITP, which is a few months old. So this is a quick check: Are you still preparing the package? What is holding you up? You can consider using the Ubuntu package as base for your work, or talk to the Ubuntu maintainer if you both want to co-maintain the package.
