Bug#295430: ITP: cpufrequtils -- Tools to access to the
Hi,
(sorry for top posting and missing mail-headers, my webmailer sucks)
I already packaged cpufrequtils, it's simply waiting in the NEW queue, I'm waiting for it to enter sid I'll then update to the latest version (there are no new important features in the 0.2-pre version though)
bugs.debian.org/278767
You should probably merge this bug with 278767.
Also, the package is pretty simple and doesn't require much maintainance, don't know if com-maintaining it is necessary.

Description : Tools to access the Linux kernel cpufreq subsystem
To make access to the Linux kernel cpufreq subsystem easier for users and
cpufreq userspace tools, a cpufrequtils package was created. It contains
command line tools to determine current CPUfreq settings and to modify
them (cpufreq-info and cpufreq-set).
