Bug#289307: Integrate to kernel-source?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I dont know if there is any problem with that...
I use the "original" kernel so... i wanted a pwc-source package in order
to make my webcam work. If there is any way to integrate the code ...
Now, my pwc-source package seems to work with module-assistant and its
lintian/linda error free.

| Since this package claims to be GPL (although there might be issues
with the
| reverse engineering which this code is based on) is there any reason
not to
| integrate this code into the kernel-source package and have the pwc.ko
| module compiled automatically to kernel-packages?
|
| The kernel-package-2.6.10-1-686 package already contains several
usb-webcam
| drivers in the /drivers/usb/media/ directory which are approximately the
| same size as pwc.ko.
