That's a lesson in getting details right :-) When I filed that RFP bug
I'd never expected to find a maintainer or sponsor the same night. In
hindsight I should not have rushed this out without going over the
cruft, though I know I'd have missed the ChangeLog issue!

I couldn't agree more, and you've actually made me feel much better
now that I understand this. The "bloke" was dh_make, and I decided to
obey this first time around. I now know to read debian-mentors .....
