Description : edit and process digital sound and other forms of on-disk data for musical or other purposes

I plan to package the mixviews playing/visualisation and DSP processing
application. It is a mature audio/speech signal processing application
which has excellent quantitative aproaches to Computer Auditory Scene
Analysis.

(from their website)
MiXViews (or mxv for short) is the newest generation in the line of
software I have written which began with "mixview", which has been
available for many years on various archives. It is a graphics-interface
program which runs under the X window system, and it is designed to
allow users to edit and process digital sound and other forms of on-disk
data for musical or other purposes.

The license is a custom license which states the following :

MiXViews is freely distributable. My only requirements for those who use
it are:
They follow the copyright guidelines in the source code (if they get
that).
They involve me in any further development of the software.
They do not attempt to make money using the program without specific
permission from me.
