* Package name    : ivi
  Upstream Author : Matthew Ballance <mballance@sourceforge.net>
* URL             : http://ivi.sourceforge.net/
* License         : GPL
  Description : a graphical front-end for various HDL simulators

=46rom the website:

"""
IVI is a graphical front-end for various simulators. IVI allows the user=20
to control simulation and view signal waveforms as the data is produced=20
by the simulation.

IVI stresses an interactive approach to design testing and debugging=20
* Signal waveforms may be examined during simulation=20
* Signals may be added to the waveform at any point during simulation=20
* Multiple wave-data files may be open at a time=20
* The simulation may be restarted after the design is recompiled,=20
preserving traced signals and waveform-window configuration=20
* Simulation operations can be automated using the TCL scripting=20
language
"""

Since GHDL (ghdl) and Icarus Verilog (verilog) are both packages in=20
Debian currently, I plan to make sure that initially IVI supports both=20
of these HDLs, as well as Cver, which a GPL Verilog system, but not=20
currently a Debian package.
