  Description : Drivers for Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 (IPW2100) adapter

This package contains the set of loadable kernel modules for the
Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 (IPW2100) mini PCI adapter, which is a common
component of Centrino notebooks.

Preliminary package available: http://people.debian.org/~ley/ipw2100

I intend to upload to experimental because the driver is not yet stable
enough. It works pretty well for me but should mature more prior to
upload it to unstable.

Since this is my first kernel package I would appreciate a review by
an experienced developer.

Furthermore, binary firmware is needed to get the adaptor running. The
firmware can be freely downoladed from Intel
(http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/firmware.php) and is then applied via
hotplug. The firmware is certainly not DFSG-free. Must the driver then go
to contrib?

Regards,
Sebastian
