Well I have made a dpatch for this, now you should be able to compile it
manually.

If make-kpkg is the correct way, then the docs should be modified; they
currently say you can either use make-kpkg or manually untar/compile.

What you could do is to create a installer package that downloads the
rtl8180 drivers and installs them automaticaly. Use the
ndiswrapper-bcm94306 package as a startingpoint.



I created packages for my driver:

deb http://sloth.voxel.net/~dilinger/ndiswrapper-rtl8180/ ./
deb-src http://sloth.voxel.net/~dilinger/ndiswrapper-rtl8180/ ./

I'm upgrading to the new ndiswrapper (0.8) now, the "proper" way (using make-kpkg modules_image). Have you found a sponsor? If not, and if I don't see any major problems w/ the package, I'll ask some DDs if they'd sponsor.
