not IE).

Hello Martin,

my apologies, I've just gone ahead and uploaded this package. I didn't see
your ITP (I *thought* I'd checked....).

How come you never got around to packaging it? It's a very useful tool for
those misfortunate enough to be stuck behind an MS Poxy Server.

Anyway, it's done now. If you want to, feel free to take it over from me.
I've just done simple config file splitting and creating an init script. I
didn't create a man page. It'd probably be worth figuring out how to update
the config file using debconf questions to define the local MS proxy server,
username etc.

Steve, to answer your question, yes it'd be nice for NTLM authorisation to
be supported everywhere in unix. But then you'd have to be able to go hack
every single client separately. Not a pleasant prospect.

But mozilla (and firefox) has had it in since v1.6, so it's "coming". Samba
has some kind of support too, but you still have to hack into clients to use
their support.

So until someone bothers to hack apt in this way for us, here is ntlmaps for
your convenience :)
