Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : zoem
  Version         : 04-061
  Upstream Author : Stijn van Dongen <zoem-devel@lists.micans.org>
* URL             : http://micans.org/zoem/
* License         : GPL
  Description : macro processor for creating typesetting mark-up languages

 Zoem is for creating small mark-up languages that map to different
 output devices. It can also be used for general practical document
 creation, allowing semantic mark-up, abstraction from repeated (mark-up)
 elements, centralized control, automatic generation of TOC sections, and
 more of that stuff. Zoem was first used for (and still fully supports)
 generating manual pages in both HTML and troff from the same source.

 If you'd like to generate manpages, but don't like troff syntax, and
 find Perl's POD too limited, zoem is likely useful for you. If you like
 your documents to be available in both PDF and HTML, but find Docbook
 XML too heavyweight, (and aren't really happy with Docbook XML's baroque
 default tagnames) you'll like zoem.

Bye,

Joost
