What about mentioning MS Access? Some people would be looking for MS
Access replacement.
So my version of the description would be:
Rekall is a a KDE-based frontend to databases. It is a tool to
extract, display and update data stored in a database.
It includes support for forms, reports and scripting (using Python).
Rekall is not a database itself, but connects
to a database server such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Rekall can be used as a replacement of MS Access.
