The GNOME 2 port of gnome-network is still a work in progress, but the
following tools are available now.

 * backup: sets of files including My Documents, Evolution files,
   Bookmarks to file, tape, CD, .mac, Amanda targets.
 * remote shell: (SSH/Telnet/RSH/rlogin) client
   To be integrated with network:// virtual folder
 * remote desktop: (vnc, x11, rdesktop)
 * netinfo: ping, traceroute, ifconfig, netstat, route, & portmap
   frontend.
