Subject: jabber: wishlist for transport packaging is still not done

Package: jabber
Version: 1.4.2a-4
Severity: wishlist

There is still a valid wishlist item for irc and other transports,
as well as for JUD.

I don't understand why bug number 98362 was closed, (rather than tagged
"wontfix", if you won't,) since this is the case.

Many of us *wish* for transports and JUD to be packaged for use with
jabberd; wishlist bugs filed indicate this. Since the wish is still
present, and has not been met, the wishlist bug is still valid. Think of
this bug as a placeholder, indicating our desires have still not been met.

Hello,
As I informed 9 Sep, I close this bug now. I was going to wait more (about
month), but there was uploads of some new jabber transports into Debian
repository:
 - jabber-aim
 - jabber-msn
 - jabber-muc
 - jabber-yahoo

If you want to have another jabber transport in Debian please:
 - check requested packages at http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/requested
 - check packages being worked on at
   http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/being_packaged
 - if wanted package is not here please file RFP bug[1] as described on
   http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/

Regards
	Artur

[1] ``reportbug wnpp'' command will be helpful
