Hi,
This is not quite an RFA, more a request for co-maintainers. Galeon is
a lot of work; lately I've not been giving it the time it deserves. I do
want to continue maintaining galeon, but need more help. The current
co-maintainers have been very good, but are now more interested in other
projects.

The package really needs the help of a crazy patch writer. Many of the
issues should be trivial to fix (although there are also some larger features to
deal with). If you're not interested in the reponsibility of being a
co-maintainer, simply having more people going through the galeon bug
reports and supplying the occasional patch would be great.

The package description is:
A Mozilla based web brower integrated with the GNOME desktop environment.
Galeon is different from other browsers in that it has many powerful features,
integrates well with gnome, and is smaller than Mozilla. Unlike many browsers,
Galeon's features are entirely related to web browsing - it does not include an
email client, irc bot or website designer. Galeon's motto is "The web, only the
 web".
 .
Galeon's use of Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine makes it fully feature
complete and standards compliant, as well as being very fast at rendering web
 pages.
 .
By using the GNOME and GTK libraries for the user interface, Galeon is
usually faster than mozilla and the interface integrates well with the
 GNOME2 Desktop Environment.
 .
This is a development snapshot, but is considered stable by many.

I'm now coping again with the galeon packages. Any help would still be
much appreciated. Especially people going through the bts every so often
& forwarding & closing reports.

Of course, patches for some of the bugs would be great :)
