The DVD player application being developed is part of the Open Media System=
, or OMS.
The DVD player application will support hardware acceleration at several le=
vels:
from no acceleration, to full DVD decoding. DVD Decoder cards that are bein=
g supported
currently are: the Matrox DVD Module, and the Creative Labs Dxr2.

Info/Download: http://www.linuxvideo.org/oms/

i want to package oms + all librarys it depends on (not including libcss).
at the moment there is heavy upstream work in these librarys, once
this has settled, i will build debian packages.

OMS and all librarys are licensed under the GPL.
For software dvd playback, it needs libcss, which can't be included legally,
but oms itself doesn't depend on libcss, so it shouldn't be a problem for d=
ebian.
