Package: wnpp
Version: 1.3.3-1; reported 2002-12-28
Severity: normal

I'm putting the gallery package up for adoption due to lack of time and
resources (after cranking out a 1.3.3-1 security fix for unstable).

Hopefully there's a developer or two out there who use the package who
can give it the attention it needs. The upstream maintainers are cool to
work with and are very receptive to patches, etc.

I currently maintain the package in cvs using cvs-buildpackage, so
familiarity with cvs and cvs-bp would be a plus. I will provide a tar of
the cvs repository files to the future maintainer.

As usual, replies and all that gunk should be aimed at this wnpp bug in
the bts.

The package description is:
Gallery is a web-based photo album with multiple user support. It
provides users with the ability to create and maintain their own albums via an
intuitive web interface. Photo management includes automatic thumbnail
creation, image resizing, rotation, ordering, captioning, searching and more.
Albums can have read, write and caption permissions per individual
authenticated user for an additional level of privacy.
 .
Created in an effort to prevent well meaning folks from sending obscenely
large photos by email, Gallery provides an easy place for friends and
relatives to create and maintain their own photo albums.
 .
The upstream web site is: http://gallery.sf.net
