Bug#188100: ITP: squidalyser -- A squid traffic analyser designed to allow per-user scrutiny and analysis of squid logfiles.

Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-04-07
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : squidalyser
  Version         : 0.2.55
  Upstream Author : Simon Burns <squidalyser@ababa.org>

* License         : GPL
  Description : A squid traffic analyser designed to allow per-user scrutiny and analysis of squid logfiles.

Squidalyser is a CGI script that allows a non-technical user to extract
information about web usage patterns, the type of information
downloaded, the sites visited by users, the graphics downloaded, and the
amount of information (per-byte or per-file) accessed.

The intention is to augment or replace the use of so-called censorware
in certain environments, given that such systems of censorship are
inevitably unreliable and imprecise.

Squidalyser uses a database backend for storing and searching the squid
traffic data. Currently only MySQL is supported.
