Bug#180783: ITP: ale -- A tool to reduce image aliasing
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
A tool to reduce aliasing in images.
ALE aligns and merges several similar images from a digitizing device
(such as a digital camera or scanner) into a single image. This
operation may have the effect of producing a relatively alias-free
image (sometimes called 'anti-aliasing'). The correct level of
similarity between images is roughly that which would be achieved by
a somewhat unsteady hand holding a digital camera.
