| Subject: Bug#179903: ITP: lazyread -- A pager with auto-scroll support
|
|
| Package: wnpp
| Version: unavailable; reported 2003-02-05
| Severity: wishlist
|
| * Package name : lazyread
| Version : 2.0
| Upstream Author : Ryan Culla <ambiod@sbcglobal.net>
| * URL : http://www.some.org/
| * License : GPL
| Description : A pager with auto-scroll support
|
| Lazyread is a C program that auto-scrolls files or command
| output to the screen. It includes dynamic scroll-speed changing,
| pause, search strings, color options, file info, different
| scroll modes, and much more.
|
| Originally lazyread was written to read long files while
| sitting back in the chair without the need to touch the
| keyboard to scroll down the pages.

I've taken a breif look at this package and it uses lesspipe. The source
tar has a lesspipe in it, but I think that it should be packaged separately.
AFAIK, lesspipe itself is not a Debian package (at least I couldn't find
one).
