Description : Squashfs is a highly compressed read-only filesystem for
Linux (kernel 2.4.x). It uses zlib compression to compress both files,
inodes and directories. Inodes in the system are very small and all blocks
are packed to minimize data overhead. Block sizes greater than 4K are
supported up to a maximum of 32K.

Note the upstream author is aka (from the README): Phillip Lougher
(phillip@lougher.demon.co.uk)

The README file says the license is "GPL licence (version 2 or later)",
but the sourceforge project says "GNU General Public License (GPL)".

This could be useful for installation, boot or rescue media.
