By the way, have you looked into opie? It's being used by several handheld
distributions with great success. It's a fork of qtopia, and apparently its
build system has been cleaned up quite a lot since I looked into packaging
it previously.
If you're more interested in qtopia, maybe I'll take another stab at opie (I
just found out about this cleanup).
