  After a quick inspection seems that maradns has all the features, I
  rember trying it a year ago and I didn't liked it (maybe it was the
  zone file format, I don't remember), but it seems it's still in active
  development and maybe is time to give it a new try.

  And about pdns, when I looked at it it was only authoritative and I it
  worked only with RDBMS, I'll try it again.

  Apart from that, do you think I have to retire the ITP because there
  are too many DNS servers in Debian? I think that one of the good
  things in Debian is that you have a lot of alternatives, and if the
  packages work and are actively maintained ... where is the problem?
