  Description     : Central configuration program for packages using debconf

configure-debian is a simple package that acts as a frontend for
configuring other packages. This is not a complete system
configuration solution, but rather, a simple way to configure
programs that are packaged using the debconf system. It is a good way
to configure or reconfigure parts of your system "the Debian way".
It also makes use of debconf, so it will use the same frontend that
you have configured debconf to use.
