Description : IRC bouncer written in perl with module and nick sharing support
PimpBNC is a module/hook-based IRC bouncer written in Perl.It has
native IRC NAT, which enables you to run a BitchX client loaded with
scripts 24/7 and connect with your IRC client when dialing up, all with
the same nick. It uses only one process regardless of the number of
clients connected. It has an auto-update announcer built in.
  Currently in it's beta stages.

Already packaged, available at http://pilt.fredolsen.com/jmoen/pbnc/debian.
I would like to maintain this myself, but currently without mentor/sponsor,
if anyone feel like it please have a look at the available package.
I'm one of the upstream developers.
