Newlib is a C library intended for use on embedded systems. It is a
conglomeration of several library parts, all under free software licenses
that make them easily usable on embedded products.

This package gets the sourcecode from the toolchain-source-newlib debian
package, see the file /usr/share/doc/toolchain-source-newlib/copyright in
that package for details.

If nobody opposes, it will be uploaded soon.
