Description : a replacement for GNU Stow written in C++

XStow is a replacement for GNU Stow written in C++. It supports
all features of Stow with some extensions. XStow and GNU Stow are
programs for managing the installation of software packages. It keeps
each package in its own directory while making it appear that all
packages are installed in the same place. Unlike GNU Stow, XStow does
not depend on Perl, and can be compiled statically for such uses as
rescue disks. XStow is fully compatible with GNU Stow, meaning that
you can switch from one to the other at will.
