Bug#157979: status update

I have source and binary packages built for stable on my website[1].

I am currently trying to get in the queue for New Maintainership.  Once
my application goes through, I plan to upload the most recent versions
of these packages to the archive.

In the meantime, I would appreciate feedback on the packages.
