Bug#171357: RFP: cdargs -- the shell cd with bookmarks and browser

Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2002-12-01
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : cdargs
  Version         : 1.20
  Upstream Author : Stefan Kamphausen <mail@skamphausen.de> and others
* URL             : http://www.skamphausen.de/software/cdargs/download.html
* License         : GPL
  Description : the shell cd with bookmarks and browser

CDargs heavily enhances the navigation of the common unix filesystem inside
the shell. It plugs into the shell built-in cd-command (via a shell function
or an alias) and thus adds bookmarks and a browser to it. It enables you to
move to a very distant place in the filesystem with just a few keystrokes.
This is the kind of thing that power shell users invent when even the almighty
and wonderfull TAB-completion is too much typing. (Just as a sidenote: there
exists TAB-completion for cdargs ;-)
