Bug#168841: ITP: dxsamples -- Sample programs for the OpenDX Data Explorer
Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2002-11-12
Severity: wishlist
* Package name : dxsamples
Version : 4.2.0
Upstream Author : IBM Research <opendx-dev@opendx.watson.ibm.com>
* URL : http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/
* License : IBM PUBLIC LICENSE - Open Visualization Data
Explorer VERSION 1.0 [1]
Description : Sample programs for the OpenDX Data Explorer
This package contains examples of networks for use in the OpenDX Data
Explorer. For one, they are referenced in the OpenDX tutorial, but can
also be used stand-alone to browse and investigate. If you are an
experienced OpenDX user already, you probably don't need this
package.
[1] The examples files are shipped in a tarball separate from the main
OpenDX distribution. This tarball does not contain a license
statement. I asked for clarification on the opendx-dev mailing
list, and one of the upstream authors stated that the samples
tarball is subject to the same license as the main OpenDX files.
Full correspondence will be included in debian/copyright. OpenDX is
part of the archive already, cf. package dx.
Regards,
Daniel.
