The bug submitter (me in this case) does not get a copy of mails sent to
nnnn@bugs.debian.org (for that you have to use
nnnn-submitter@bugs.debian.org).

Updating the documents (I think there are new edition of the reports),
and making the build system (Makefile) work better. The idea is that
the upstream package could be used by other distributions as well,
but I don't know if anybody does.
When you are ready to take over, retitle the bug to ITA (don't do it
before that). I expect to see an upload soon after retitling.
