Bug#156956: ITP: iftop -- iftop provides real-time bandwidth usage information on a specified interface, listed by host pairs.

Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2002-08-16
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : iftop
  Version         : 0.4
  Upstream Author : Paul Warren <pdw@ex-parrot.com>, Chris Lightfoot <chris@ex-parrot.com>

* License         : GPL
  Description : iftop provides real-time bandwidth usage information on a specified interface, listed by host pairs.

iftop does for network usage what top(1) does for CPU usage. It listens to network traffic on a named interface and displays a table
of current bandwidth usage by pairs of hosts. Handy for answering the question "why is our ADSL link so slow?".
