Version: N/A
Severity: wishlist

libgsf aims to provide an efficient extensible I/O abstraction for dealing
with different structured file formats (currently: MS OLE, gzip, stdio,
mmap, buffer; planned: zip, bonobo stream/storage, gnome-vfs and others).

It is intended to replace libole2 eventually. As such, the GNOME2 port of
Gnumeric (the 1.1.x development branch) is in the process of being converted
to use it.

There has been no released version of libgsf yet; I'll package it once there
is a release.

License: GPLv2.
