GNUnet is an anonymous, distributed, reputation-based network. A first
service implemented on top of the networking layer allows
censorship-resistant file-sharing. GNUnet claims to offer significant
advantages over "freenet. gnutella, mojonation and others".

The requirements listed on the website are:

    * GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD or NetBSD.
    * OpenSSL (>= 0.95)
    * gtk+ >= 1.2
    * libextractor (available at http://www.ovmj.org/~samanta/libextractor/)
