Excerpt from sendmail's description:

This package supports DB, NIS, NIS+, HESIOD, LDAP, DNS, and REGEX maps,
is built with IPv6, TCPWrappers, SASL and liblockfile (for mail.local).
Whilst the source has TLS (OpenSSL) support, binaries are *not* built
with libSSL due to current US export regulations.

Perhaps a version with SSL support could also be supported which then resid=
es
in the non-US archives?

Since main can contain crypto the sendmail package has support for
SSL/TLS, no need for a seperate package.
