Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

I'm using the DVD+RW for Linux tools from

	http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/

with an HP dvd100i drive installed in an HP i2000 (IA-64) system quite happily
now. The package will contain the format utility and growisofs, plus a copy
of the kernel patch that's required and a README.Debian containing some
cookbook instructions for use.

I don't currently plan to deliver the patch as a kernel-patch package, though
I could probably be talked into it. I do intend to include the patch in my
"official" Debian kernel images for the ia64 architecture, however.

There is no explicit assertion of copyright or intended license. I've emailed
the author requesting clarification, and will refrain from uploading until his
wishes are explicitly known.

Bdale
