the version might be from july 2001
i can play it. Level 2 crashes, but the others work.
Latest cvs change i saw was two month ago, the mailing list had a few
messages in february...
the author is doing the plib and tuxkart, too, which had more recent
releases, so i don't think the project is really dead.
