Quite some time ago (112 days ago), you ITPed em8300.
I'm quite interested in getting my Hollywood+ card to run on linux with
xine. Are you planning to release soon?
Moreover, I've seen that unofficial debian package already exist. They
are made by Jonas Birme and are available at http://www.birme.se/dxr3/.
If you are late with your packaging, you might perhaps try and use these
packages as a starting point. Or you should try to work with Jonas
Birme, instead of duplicating work...
