Bug#113222: ITP: pxfonts -- Palatino-likes fonts for TeX

Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2001-09-23
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : pxfonts
  Version         : 1.0+1-1
  Upstream Author : Young U. Ryu <ryoung@utdallas.edu>
* URL             : http://www.utdallas.edu/~ryoung/pxfonts/
* License         : GPL
  Description : Palatino-likes fonts for TeX

Like txfonts(already in sid), this package contains a bunch of afm, pfb, tfm,
and vf etc. to set up and use Adobe Palatino fonts (or its substitute) in your
TeX documents. With pxfonts, you'll get better outputs since the normal
Computer Modern leaves a little to be desired. Especially suited for
mathematical papers.

This debianized package is set up to use free URWPalladioL(included in
gsfonts) instead of the original Adobe Palatino, which is a commercial product
distributed by Adobe.
