[EBOOK-DEV]? What's the -DEV for? If it's development, why (why not just
[EBOOK])? And why is it at the start of the short description so that it
takes up more precious screen space in frontends that don't have much
space to display the short description?

Finally, where was this discussed? (I didn't see it on debian-doc,
debian-devel, debian-policy, anywhere I might reasonably expect to see
people trying to improve documentation standards.) If it had been
discussed, I think a much better solution might have been proposed, such
as an Electronic-Book: yes header (compare Meta-Package: yes) or
something along those lines.
