Bug#108936: ITP: PassiveTex -- TeX macros for XSL-FO to PDF, etc.
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
PassiveTex is like the XML/XSL version of jadetex.
When you generate an XML/XSL-FO document from XSL-FO stylesheets,
PassiveTex will generate PDF from these intermediate documents.
Though not as mature as the Jade/JadeTex combination, a large user
base will surely accelerate its development. The author, Sebastian
Rahtz, is also the developer of jadetex.
PassiveTeX's functionality is similar to FOP (from Apache-XML), but
IMHO has a more promising development cycle. PassiveTex also has
native support for MathML.
