Hi...
I've just finished hacking together a python-omniorb package...
Since I'm only in the NM queue, I'll be trying to get this sponsored
soon.
In the mean time, if anyone would like to use/test it, it's available
from :
deb http://www.wilmascope.org/debian sid/
or
deb http://www.wilmascope.org/debian potato/
(along with potato versions of the current omniORB packages)
There are also "WilmaScope" .debs in those repositories, but you'll need
evil non-free apt lines to get Java3D etc...
Warning: these repositories are on sourceforge, install them at your own
risk ;)
