Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist I intent to package Macromedia flash player and shockwave player for Mozilla. These two players can both be downloaded together from [1], in one tarball. Note the existence of ITP "flash -- GPL Flash Library" [2]. Matt suggested there "You should examine the tarball from Macromedia and read the license agreement to determine whether it is redistributable. If it is, it can go into non-free.". The license is online at [3]. I think that the license allows redistribution as a Debian package. I'll contact debian-legal@lists.debian.org and Macromedia to be sure. Note that flash and shockwave are already packaged for Netscape in the package netscape-base. Any suggestions are very welcome!
