Bug#75696: gnu-pop3d - You may want to package virtualmail-pop3d instead.

Since you intend to package gnu-pop3d (which I haven't heard of from you for
quite a while), you might consider packaging virtualmail-pop3d (aka
vm-pop3d) instead. Like I said in my previous mail about gnu-pop3d, Jeremy
C. Reed was patching gnu-pop3d to fix some outstanding bugs and adding new
features, like virtual mail.

virtualmail-pop3d (http://www.reedmedia.net/software/virtualmail-pop3d/) is
a POP3 server. It is free to download and use. It supports alternative
password files and mail spool directories; it can be used for setting up
virtual email accounts - mailboxes without real Unix owners for each. This
will allow you to have multiple email accounts with the same name on one
system.

In case you changed your mind about packaging gnu-pop3d (or gnu-pop3d with
patches from http://www.reedmedia.net/projects/virtualmail/), please, change
title of this "bug" report so it wouldn't say ITP (meaning that you intend
to package this package for Debian).

 - Peter.
