From the README:
GHex allows the user to load data from any file, view and edit it in either
hex or ascii. A must for anyone playing games that use non-ascii format for
saving.
GHex is part of GNOME 1.4, which is why i'm packaging it. If
someone else wants to take it feel free to do so, but no one
stepped forward on debian-gtk-gnome.
GHex is released under the GNU GPL.
